I jump back in the river with my Blind Faith LP I bump into the Giver it’s such a fine place to be now Oh my dear Right back in the fall While I’m here I wanna see it all The writing on the wall I wanna know my future It’s such a strange mystery I promise not to U-turn I’ll just blame history Taught since birth To run before I crawl No ones earth So anyone can scrawl The writing on the wall The myth of always moving is like some Vague eulogy I wish I could pursue it with my Feigned cruelty now But I’ll stay here In case somebody calls Face the mirror The tasteless way to stall The writing on the wall

Mirror Moon 03:23
Disappear me while the sun is away Get the sky to give me golden array Let me dance forever Under the mirror moon Let the city fall to foreign affair You and I can start dividing the air I don't mind if we save em some For when they change their tune When we wake up in the river again Take a picture when we get to the end We can stand together At the ocean line That’s the oil pumping out of the earth That’s our mother in perpetual birth But we can drive forever When the ocean’s dry Bless the limits of an animal mind Bless the minutes as they run out of time We are always children Unless the clock is wrong Lemme dance forever Under the Mirror Moon Under the Mirror Moon Under the Mirror Moon

The master courage hasn’t crumbled The lacking average smacks the host Whoever marked us as revealing was the last to see the most We studied the lucky misconceptions Invited prudes the kiss the bride Before the family hit the mirror Convenient talent rectified before our eyes We were asleep! Bad excuses put to use The correcting signage on the highway just so Kinder Morgan signs the truce More ugly backroad pre-madonnas convicted of believing sand that hung in horizontal lanterns Escaping comical commands Most entertainers just go solo demanding some mediocre faith but the canvas, if prepared correctly has grown to perpetrate the waste That language Which once convinced us fully Is bad enough when took alone But verses scripted post-intention are said with fingers on the phone Verses scripted post-intention are said with fingers on the phone

Standing in the mirror knowing I cant be the one you choose Hoping something clearer comes to take away These lonesome blues I can’t help believing that you're leaving when I know that its true I don't feel differently but I hang my things from the killing tree I know its imagery but I lay my head on the guillotine and I plead That they’ll set me free I’m not thru pretending that the enemy don't look like me One of us is sending these vibrations here mistookenly And I don't have the patience to replace the man they took me to be I don't see differently But I keep on listening to Village Green Mama they killin me With their needless possibilities And I plead That they'll set me free I know its time I know its time I know its time, but I don't wanna leave here I know its time I know its time I know its time, but I don't wanna leave here Empty out your pockets and deliver your authentic self We’ll put all your gadgets on a little alphabetic shelf You don't have to worry we’ll return when you’re somebody else I don't feel differently but I hang my things from the killing tree I know its just imagery but I lay my head on the guillotine And I plead That they'll set me free I plead that they’ll set me free that they'll set me free

You can dance to the echoes of karma master where the silence ends Hold the mirror up in front of never enough And position it to make new friends But you’ll never know the great creator Staring through another’s eyes Calling future presence later Answering tomorrow’s whys There’s a magnifying surface Leant above the river’s edge The fish go crazy for the waves at night They smell that modern sacrilege But I’m for the dark inertia Power where they thought we’d lost Animated shadows surrender to the gallows Hanging with their fingers crossed Animated shadows now, surrender to the gallows, Hanging with their fingers crossed

One hits the grave and runs away from it all A vision laid to rest, a place to recall You whispered ‘all good things are freed from the sun’ its not your fault you only needed someone Queen of Then Your dampened poetry erased in the sprawl Another golden spirit placed in the hall We made mythologies from out of your tears While you were calling us to give you our ears Queen of Then Now Mother Solitude asleep in the stars The others call on you to teach them your charms Do we regret the weather brought by the wind? I guess that no one ever thought it would win Queen of Then Immortal memories that seem to be grown Aurora Borealis seen from the stone You lay there underneath them playing along The pale conductor orchestrating her song Queen of then You whispered ‘all good things are freed from the sun’ Its not your fault you only needed someone Queen of Then Queen of Then

Tantalus King, always on duty Loves to feel the light refracting around him I repent: My geographical lineage is shattered Like a crab in the desert The boy hurls Jupiter into the Squamish river S(o/u)ns of different spelling build a fire on her bed IntoRhythm is the lunar mantra The Queen is lit by the cycle There’s a rattling shimmer missing everywhere else Something collectors envy And we are lighter when we think of silence as a product Maybe navigation is a hoax or something Directions seem to be losing value Leave from everywhere Still arrive late

Deep in my heart I believe that No one really needs me now Well am I right, or am I wrong? Ain’t that the part I should see past? Pulling figures from the clouds Gold is the light and OM is the song Deep in my heart I believe that No we’re not here forever, Not here forever now I run to the shore with a reason Pull me down into your bed I’ll swim to death these hymns of theft Cause I’m getting bored of this season Full of sounds to fool my head No rhythm left, the king is def I run to the shore with a reason And float off so lost in letters, I’ve been lost in letters now I come from the light with a feeling Take me back when you go home I’ll cut the wood, and I build a fire for ya I need no blanket or ceiling, no I find warmth in where I roam Do you think I could? Or am I lying to you now? I come from the light with a feeling Don’t we grow free together? We’re free together We’re free together now We’re free together

The actor doubled as his freedom Invited mystics from afar He laced the lemon tea with teardrops And took after drinking in his car Alone and vented are his moments An active freelance connoisseur The kind where crystals melt from service And now go building walls of fur The real pressures are in language As spoken by our presidents And former colleagues from the airshow Where smoke donations clog the vents Contained but frequenter than ever The specimen goes up in flames And residents in linen whisper ’it must be the judge who rigged the game’ So lowlight levels mark our kinship To voices young enough to beg When lack material means ego, A visit to the phantoms bed All motion is a cult of some kind I know cause I’ve told people ’no’ Iconic loot collapsed in rivers That paint the tourists calico No mercy is the voice of reason I learned that staring at a cup Of holy water sold by Nestle Before I grinned and drank it up I’m looking for the perfect nightclub You take a train to it Let it dance you introspectively

You wonder why Everyone looks at the sky Thinking of ways they could fly Why don’t they ever just try? You love the sun So does I guess everyone But who makes it fun? Life here’d’ve never begun Light from the stream Dancin’ around like a dream But who says it’s free? Anything we don’t call ‘me’ If you listen where silence is hung There’s an infinite choir unsung Trying to taste their own tongue What can you do? What do you do? What can you do? What can you do? What do you do? What can you do? Open yourself Air breathing nobody else Phones on the shelf Lonely because of their help Rhythm unreal Spins like a counterfeit wheel Of all of the riches we steal Can’t trick the way that you feel You know you do What can you do? What can you do? What can you do? What do you do? If you listen where silence is hung There’s an infinite choir unsung Trying to taste their own tongue Trying to taste their own tongue
